Abstract
У статті представлено теоретичний аналіз проблеми впливу пандемії COVID-19 на прояви схильності до прокрастинації студентської молоді. Здійснивши аналіз літературних джерел, з’ясовано основні причини, які спричиняють до виникнення прокрастинації в умовах пандемії COVID-19: дистанційне навчання, адже дім асоціюється з відпочинком, тому стало значно складніше виконувати всі важливі завдання та справи в зазначений термін, також впливає страх невдачі, невпевненість у власних знаннях, уміннях та навичках. Гострота дослідження цього феномену проявляється в негативних наслідках прокрастинації на навчальний процес, що впливає на професіоналізм студентів. Звичка відкладати все на потім призводить до постійних боргів з минулих занять, спроб наздогнати своїх одногрупників, незадоволеності навчальним процесом у вузі, небажанням навчатися, академічною неуспішністю.
The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of the impact of COVID-19 on the manifestations of propensity to procrastinate student youth during the pandemic. The analysis of literature sources revealed the main approaches in psychological science to the interpretation of the phenomenon of procrastination. Regarding the main causes of procrastination in COVID – 19, we have singled out: remote start, because the house is associated with rest, so it became much more difficult to perform all important tasks and tasks in time, also affected by fear of failure, insecurity, insecurity skills. The severity of the study of this phenomenon is manifested in the negative effects of procrastination on the educational process, which affects the professionalism of students. The habit of postponing everything leads to constant debts from past classes, attempts to catch up with their classmates, dissatisfaction with the educational process in the university, unwillingness to study, academic failure. Therefore, we consider an important component of our article to analyze the scientific literature on ways to overcome academic procrastination in a pandemic. There is still no universal theory of procrastination in modern psychological science, but different views on the nature of procrastination are reflected in the theory of psychodynamic school, integrative theory of temporal motivation, and behavioral and cognitive psychology, which have become leading research in recent years. During the pandemic, student youth found themselves in difficult conditions of professional self-realization. Researchers note many negative effects of this phenomenon on the development of society. However, as a result of modern scientific research, scientists suggest ways to overcome procrastination during the pandemic and point to the importance of their implementation.
