Джерела до історії Поділля у документах Президіального відділу Галицького намісництва (1772-1921): джерелознавчий огляд

Abstract

Мета статті полягає у виявленні й здійсненні огляду джерел до історії Поділля у документах Президіального відділу фонду Галицького губернаторства (намісництва), який зберігається у Центральному державному історичному архіві України у Львові. Методологічною основою дослідження є загальнонаукові (аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення) та спеціально-історичні (історико-генетичний, історико-порівняльний, історико-типологічний) методи, принципи історизму, об’єктивності та верифікації. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у тому, що вперше комплексно проаналізовано документальні матеріали Президіального відділу Галицького намісництва на предмет наявності серед них документів до історії Поділля кінця XVIII – початку ХХ ст., окреслено тематичні групи цих документів, розглянуто склад і зміст виявлених архівних справ. Висновки. У фонді Галицького намісництва серед документів Президіального відділу зберігається чимало справ, які стосуються Поділля. Вони становлять значну джерелознавчу цінність для вивчення різних аспектів життя цього регіону загалом та його відносин із Галичиною зокрема. Ці документи відзначаються видовим розмаїттям, різноплановою тематикою й інформаційною наповненістю. Водночас серед цього комплексу документів не бракує і справ, які через закритість заголовків та відсутність прямих вказівок на зв'язок із Поділлям можуть бути віднесені до нього (комплексу) лише на підставі логічних суджень і висновків. Відтак їх слід розглядати як потенційні джерела до історії Поділля, в яких може бути інформація про цей регіон.

The purpose of the article is.to identify and review the sources on the history of the Podillia in the documents of the Presidium Department of the fund of the Galician Governorate (vice-regency), which is kept in the Central Historical Archive of Ukraine in Lviv. The methodological basis of the study are general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and special-historical (historical-genetic, historical-comparative, historical-typological) methods, as well as the principles of historicism, objectivity and verification. The scientific novelty of the work is that the documentary materials of the Presidium Department of the Galician vice-regency were comprehensively analyzed in order to identify among them documents on the history of Podillia from the end of the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century. In addition, the thematic groups of these documents are outlined as well as the composition and content of the discovered archival files are considered. Conclusions. A lot of archival files related to Podillia are kept among the documents of the Presidium Department in the fund of the Galician vice-regency. They are of significant scientific value for the study of various aspects of the life of this region in general and its relations with Galicia in particular. These documents are notable for their diversity, multifaceted topics and information contents. At the same time among this complex of documents there are many archival files with very generalized headings that do not indicate any connection with Podillia. They can belong to this complex only on the basis of logical judgements and conclusions. Therefore they should be considered as potential sources on the history of Podillia, which may contain information about this region.
