Abstract

В роботі досліджується концепція міфології та її модернізація крізь призму часу та модернізації світу, на основі творчості Сари Дж. Маас. Спостерігається та порівнюється міологія давніх часів з її інтерпретацією у вигляді фентезі жанру сучасної літератури. Проводиться паралель з класичним міфом та його використання у творах Сари Дж. Маас, а також проводиться аналіз нових міфологічних фігур авторського світу. Також в роботі досліджується актуальність міфології в сучасному світі

The paper explores the concept of mythology and its modernization through the prism of time and modernization of the world, based on the work of Sara J. Maas. Myology of ancient times is observed and compared with its interpretation in the form of fantasy genre of modern literature. A parallel with the classical myth and its use in the works of Sara J. Maas is drawn, as well as an analysis of new mythological figures of the author's world. The paper also examines the relevance of mythology in the modern world
