Використання елементів статистичного методу в практиці аналізу лінгвістичного тексту (на матеріалі аналітичних форм підмета)

Abstract

Подано результати дослідження співвідношення частоти вживання аналітичних форм підметів та їхніх якісних особливостей у художніх творах українських прозаїків Михайла Стельмаха та Олеся Гончара. На основі кількісно-якісного поширення складених підметів у досліджуваних текстах визначено неповторність, феноменальність та стилістичні особливості індивідуально-авторського мовлення письменників. Показано ефективність, перспективу та доцільність застосування математичних методів для лінгвістичних досліджень.

В статье исследованы количественные соотношения частоты употребления аналитических форм подлежащих, а также их качественные особенности в художественных произведениях украинских прозаиков Михаила Стельмаха и Олеся Гончара. На основе количественно-качественного распространения аналитического подлежащего в исследованых текстах определено неповторимость, феноменальность и стилистические особенности индивидуально-авторского вещания писателей. Рассмотрено эффективность, перспективу и целесообразность применения математических методов в лингвистических исследованиях.

Introduction. The mathematical methods of the analysis are widely used by current linguists. These methods help getting valid results for the objective scientific substantiation of linguistic phenomena. The use of statistical methods in Ukrainian linguistics was initiated by V.S. Perebyinis and it needs further implementation and development. Statistical techniques have brought significant advances in the broad-coverage language processing. Statistical methods have made real progress possible on a number of issues that had previously stymied attempts to liberate systems from toy domains; issues that include disambiguation, error correction, and the induction of the sheer volume of the information requisite for handling unrestricted text. And the sense of progress has generated great enthusiasm for statistical methods in computational linguistics. Purpose. The article focuses on the comparative analysis of the frequency of the analytical subject’s usage as stylistics characteristics of the author's speech on the material of M. Stelmakh and Oles Honchar’s works with the help of the statistical method. Methods. Descriptive method, component analysis method, valency analysis and statistical method were used. Results. In order to provide a statistical study (for the analysis of the stylistic functioning of the compound subject model), some works of writers were chosen for the analysis. The selected samples formed certain intervals between pages. The method of statistical analysis was used for analyzing 2600 samples of sentences with analytical subjects. The article presents theoretical material regarding the nomination «complex form of a sentence part» in the interpretation of various scholars. The study of the phenomenon «analyticity of the subject» is attributed by the authors to the absolute syntagmatics of notional words, which leads to the formation of grammaticalized semantic unities of notional words. The article includes tables and diagrams that reflect the variations of the average frequency of the compound subject and the quantitative ratio of analytical substitutions in the works of writers. Originality. The statistical analysis of the frequency of analytical forms usage in the subtext in the texts proved the specificity of phenomenality, individuality and creative inferiority of writers. The efficiency, perspective and expediency of application of mathematical methods for linguistic researches have been proved. Conclusion. The results of statistical calculations showed quite distinct differences in the use of analytical forms of subjects in the texts of M. Stelmakh and Oles Honchar. The given analysis fragment, based on the statistical methods of research, is supposed to be a model, besides everything else, of using the method of the statistical analysis for research and adequate identification of styles and author's speech for clearly defined linguistic units.
