Зближення форм навчання у середній та вищій школах як умова найскорішої адаптації студентів-першокурсників до навчання у технічному університеті

Abstract

Розглянуто основні аспекти реформування вітчизняної системи середньої освіти у зв’язку з необхідністю її наближення до вищої школи. Встановлено відмінності у навчанні школярів та студентів технічних університетів, визначено необхідність збільшення частки самостійної роботи, підвищення відповідальності школярів та формування у них дослідницьких компетентностей. За концепції впровадження в Україні STEM-освіти актуалізується завдання посилення фундаментальної підготовки школярів через розробку інтегральних курсів, використання новітніх технологій, які формують уміння самостійно здобувати знання, збирати, обробляти й узагальнювати інформацію, користуватися досягненнями сучасного інформаційного суспільства. Набуті під час навчання у середній школі компетентності мають відповідати рівню, який є необхідним для продовження навчання у технічному університеті.

Modern development of scientific knowledge, socio-economic and political transformations in society condition the necessity of reforms in the systems of secondary and higher education. The main aspects of the reformation of the national secondary education in connection with the necessity of its convergence to the requirements of the higher education were considered. The differences in the teaching of students at school and technical university were determined, the need to increase the proportion of autonomy of students at schools, as well as the necessity to increase their responsibility and ensure the formation of their research competencies were substantiated. In terms of the implementation of the STEM-education concept in Ukraine, the requirements for the quality of the fundamental preparation of students in schools are strengthening because of the development of the integrated courses, the use of the innovative technologies, etc. In order to establish interdisciplinary connections, strengthen the connection of fundamental preparation with life and practice, its valeologization and humanization, it was proposed to carry out "round tables", consultations with teachers of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology in order to harmonize scientific terminology, principles and sequence of teaching material presentation and also to familiarize with the themes that will reflect the specifics of the future specialty of the modern talented youth. It was established that the content of the fundamental preparation of the secondary education students should be formed on the basis of systematic and scientific principles, as well as continuity and consistency. The potential opportunities for the implementation of the principles of ecologization, valeologization and humanization of education into the fundamental component of the educational process are also important. So, the content of the fundamental preparation of students at school should promote the activation of their educational and cognitive activity, the development of creativity and should also cause positive motivation for learning, while the acquired during the education competencies need to be consistent with the level which is necessary for the successful admission and studying at the technical university.
