Abstract

У статті висвітлено соціально-політичний портрет Сталіна в політологічно-історичній інтерпретації відомого американського ученого Роберта Конквеста, проаналізовано його авторські оцінки, виокремлено спільні і відмінні характеристики у порівнянні з іншими західними ученими. Розкрито концептуальні та інноваційні підходи американського ученого до виявлення ним антропологічних, ментальних, світоглядних, ідеологічних рис та ознак відомої історичної особи.Socio-political portrait of Stalin in the assessment of R. Konquest The article highlights the socio-political portrait of Stalin in the political- historical interpretation of the famous American scientist Robert Conquest, analyzes his author's assessments, singles out common and distinctive characteristics in comparison with other Western scientists. The conceptual and innovative approaches of the American scientist to his identification of anthropological, mental, worldview, ideological features and signs of a famous historical figure are disclosed.
