Образ Cтамбула в современной русскоязычной прозе

Abstract

В умовах антропоцентричної орієнтації сучасної лінгвістики дослідження метафоричних образів країн та народів, що виникають у свідомості представників інших культур, стає особливо актуальним. Ці процеси є ціллю дослідження одного з найсучасніших напрямків мовознавства – лінгвоімагології. В сататті досліджується тропеїчна система образу Стамбулу, створена російськомовним письменником східного походження, при описі цього міста.

В условиях антропоцентрической ориентации современной лингвистики исследование метафорических образов стран и народов, возникающих в сознании представителей иных культур, становится особенно актуальным. Эти процессы являются целью исследования одного из новейших направлений языкознания – лингвоимагологии. В статье исследуется тропеическая система образа Стамбула, созданная русскоязычным писателем восточного происхождения при описании этого города.

According to the anthropocentric orientation of modern linguistics the research of metaphoric images of countries and peoples is very important, especially if such images are created by the representatives of other cultures. These processes are the aim of one of the most recently appeared branches of linguistics – lingvoimagology. The images of the capital cities are considered to be the most important as they are traditionally viewed as the places, where all the peculiarities and characteristic features of the culture are concentrated. In this article the image of Istanbul, which was created by the Russian speaking writer of eastern origin, is analysed. Being the main instrument of creation of the artistic images, the system of tropes represents the author’s view about the city. Istanbul is portrayed with the help of metaphors which become complex in combination with personification, epithets and comparison. As a result, the city is described as a living being according to its abilities and the author’s attitude towards it. Consequently, on the base of these stylistic peculiarities we can judge about the writer’s outlook which can be characterized as anthropomorphic.
