Abstract
The reformation of medical education is directed to find effective technologies that provide preparation of highly qualified doctors who can perform their duties competently. Changes are based not on the transfer of a large number of knowledge, but on the development of student abilities and their cognitive activity in the form of observation, imagination, memory, attention and thinking. Diagnostic of diseases is the most important aspect of the practice of the doctor. Conduction of a complete pathogenetic treatment and determination of prognosis are impossible without it. The ability to conduct differential diagnostics, which is based on the integration of fundamental natural and professional knowledge has a special significance for the future doctor. The ability to correctly diagnose the disease requires not only knowledge of the medicine problems, but also the advanced clinical thinking of the doctor, which include a certain worldview and the features of intellectual processes the purpose of which is solving medical problems. The broader concept is the scientific and theoretical thinking of the physician, which is associated with the discovery of new facts, patterns, theories that reveal the course of a particular pathological process, the knowledge of specific nosological units. The ability to think professionally provides the necessary features of a modern doctor: education, confidence in their actions and knowledge, developed logical thinking, ability to receive and analyze information, conscious readiness to engage in active research activity, defend their own point of view, courage in scientific views. The development of professional thinking occurs in the student's research circle. Scientific activity of students in the circle promotes not only the deepening and creative acquisition of knowledge in natural sciences and professional disciplines, but also the ability to work with different scientific sources, analyze received information, generalize it, make conclusions, which helps successfully accomplish the tasks set by education, promotes the expansion of the scientific outlook, rational use of free time, self-realization of the personality of the future doctor.
