    Individual approach in the development of muscle mass in women of mature age

    This article deals with the current trend in the work of most fitness clubs - personal training. The description of the work of an individual trainer and the advantages of such classes are given. Emphasis is placed on training in the gym as a fast and high-quality means of gaining muscle mass. The study examines the dynamics of the results of training in the gym with women of mature age up to 40 years with the aim of gaining the desired muscle mass. A description of the approximate method of individual lessons with a personal trainer is given, on the basis of which observation and further research was carried out. Attention is paid to the training load in accordance with the ovarian-menstrual cycle involved. The data of women of mature age, who train independently, and women, who study under the control of a personal trainer of the gym, are compared. It argues the effectiveness of individual lessons with a trainer of women of mature age on the basis of bio-impedance analysis. On its basis, body composition characteristics are calculated, such as fat, lean, cellular and skeletal-muscular mass, volume and distribution of water in the body. During the experiment, waist and hip circumferences were also measured to determine the dynamics of their ratio and weighed on floor scales. In all respects, there is an improvement in the body parameters of women in both groups, however, representatives of the experimental group, who work under the control and guidance of a personal trainer, achieved great results.

    Indicators of level development of the Olympic knowledge of elementary school pupils

    The Olympic Movement – the social phenomenon, having a huge impact on many spheres of society life, especially on education. Inclusion of the Olympic bases in the process of education promotes the formation of pupils’ interest to physical improvement and their familiarizing with sport, ideals and values of Olympism. The Olympic education as a set of the skills, which is necessary for a person to maintain his health and as a stimulus to sports – the extended period in life of each person at all steps of education. Purpose: to maintain the level of knowledge formation about Olympism of 79 pupils of the 2nd and 35 pupils of the 3rd classes of high school No. 59 of Gomel visiting day-care centers. Methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of data of scientific and methodical literature, questioning, test exercises and statistical methods of processing of materials. Results: the results of the questioning about the formation of knowledge about Olympism are defined. The "average" level of knowledge dominates among the pupils of the 2nd and 3rd classes. Conclusions: the acquaintance of pupils of elementary school with the bases of the Olympic knowledge is one of effective ways of children’s familiarizing with physical exercises, sport, the formation of interest to physical improvement. The lesson of physical culture and health, owing to the methodical features, cannot fill the lack of the Olympic knowledge. Therefore, the need for methodical grants development, the versions of leisure time on the Olympic subject, holding conversations and quizzes, viewing of movies about Olympism on elective courses, in day-care centers, application of didactic games or grants, etc. follows.

    Formation of pupils` sports knowledge in day-care centers

    The formation of knowledge in the sphere of physical culture and a healthy lifestyle is a topical issue in educational institutions. The knowledge about physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle is an important element of physical culture of the identity of younger school students. The minimum base of the above-named knowledge lays the huge foundation for living position of each pupil. Purpose: assessment of level of formation in the knowledge about physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle of pupils in day-care centers of educational institutions, data about their visiting of additional sports sections and developing classes. Methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of data from scientific and methodical literature, questioning, statistical methods of processing of the materials. Results: results of questioning about the formation of knowledge about physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle of the pupils who are attending and not attending additional sports sections and developing classes are defined and given to comparison. The general level of knowledge about physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle of pupils from two groups in the number of 48 people was 68,6% and 59.67% respectively and is equated to the average level. Conclusions: for the increase of level in knowledge about physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle it is necessary to diversify forms of holding sports and improving occupations with pupils both in the mode of school day, and in day-care centers, motivating pupils to make the day regimen correctly, to increase physical activity, to follow hygienic rules, to be engaged in physical exercises regularly, to lead a healthy lifestyle and to visit sports sections.

    Dynamics of intellectual efficiency indicators of the second step pupils of general secondary education at the english lessons during regular use of physical

    An important indicator of society wellbeing and state in general is the health state of school students which shows not only a real situation, but also gives the chance to predict the future. Insufficient physical activity of school students is the most serious problem exerting impact on their level of health, physical condition and the level of physical and intellectual working capacity. The last, according to many modern scientists, plays one of the key roles in assimilation of knowledge in various school objects, including also English. Article is devoted to the relevant direction in the field of modern general secondary education: the introduction of health preserving technologies in the educational process. One of the effective forms of the organization of sports-improving studies with school students is the physical minute. The classification of physical minutes and an important study guide (which is extremely necessary in making up a complex of the physical cultural pauses and physical minutes used at the English lessons) is presented in the article. The results of the researches of small sports forms influence and improving actions in the mode of school day of the second step pupils of general secondary education on indicators of their intellectual working capacity are disclosed. As a result of the conducted research the efficiency of the developed methodical approaches of the use of physical exercises at the English lessons with pupils of the second step of general secondary education was experimentally proved. The indicators of volume and quality of intellectual efficiency of school students of the fifth forms are investigated. Quantitative and quality indicators of intellectual efficiency of pupils at the English lessons within academic year and also the influence of physical minutes on their intellectual working capacity indicators are presented
