Формування готовності до професійно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування майбутніх фахівців у коледжах технічного профілю

Abstract

У дисертації проаналізовані праці з проблеми формування готовності людини до певної діяльності, зокрема, до професіֺйно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування; окреслена проблема організації процесу навчання професіֺйно спрямованої іноземної мови, формування комунікативної іншомовної компетентності майбутніх фахівців технічного профілю. Уточнено зміст поняття «готовність», визначено структуру, компоненти, рівні, критерії готовності до ПОІС, а також створено модель формування готовності до професіֺйно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування майбутніх фахівців у коледжах технічного профілю. Визначені й обґрунтовані педагогічні умови формування готовності до професіֺйно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування майбутніх фахівців у коледжах технічного профілю: створення мовного середовища під час навчання професіֺйно орієнтованої іноземної мови; моделювання професійних ситуацій іншомовного спілкування в процесі формування готовності до професіֺйно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування майбутніх фахівців технічного профілю; використання ІКТ для підвищення мотивації до професіֺйно орієнтованого іншомовного спілкування в коледжах технічного профілю. Експериментально перевірена ефективність запропонованих педагогічних умов, описана організація та методика здійснення педагогічного експерименту, представлені його результати.

В диссертации проанализированы работы по проблеме формирования готовности человека к определенной деятельности, в частности, профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению; очерчена проблема организации процесса обучения профессионально ориентированному иностранному языку, формирования коммуникативной иноязычной компетентности будущих специалистов технического профиля. Уточнено содержание понятия «готовность», определены структура, компоненты, критерии, уровни готовности к профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению, а также создана модель формирования готовности к профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению будущих специалистов в колледжах технического профиля. Определены и обоснованы педагогические условия формирования готовности к профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению будущих специалистов в колледжах технического профиля: создание языковой среды во время обучения профессионально ориентированному иностранному языку; моделирование профессиональных ситуаций иноязычного общения в процессе формирования готовности к профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению будущих специалистов технического профиля; использование информационно-коммуникационных технологий для повышения мотивации к профессионально ориентированному иноязычному общению в колледжах технического профиля. Экспериментально проверена эффективность предложенных педагогических условий, описана организация и методика осуществления педагогического эксперимента, представлены его результаты.

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of formation of readiness to professionally oriented language communication of future professionals in technical profile colleges. The thesis developed scientific positions of ways to improve the learning process of foreign language communication of students in technical colleges on the basis of accounting individual capabilities and enhancing their motivation to learn. Professionally-oriented foreign language communication is described as means for professional and personal development, possessing a set of communicative skills. The peculiarities of teaching foreign language communication students of technical disciplines that must be considered in the didactic and methodological organization of educational process are turned out. The introduction reveals the topicality and expediency of the investigation, defines its aim, tasks, hypothesis, it also reveals the object and subject, methods, methodological and theoretical basis of the investigation. The scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the obtained results is disclosed.In the first chapter the essence of the concept of "readiness activities" and "readiness to professionally oriented foreign language communication" are specified. It was found that the structural components of readiness to professionally oriented foreign language communication of future specialists in technical college profile are: motivational, semantic, operational, communicative components. The criteria (value-motivational, cognitive and educational, active and practical) and indicators which allow evaluating the level of existing skills are developed. The degree of formation of these criteria and indicators is defined on the basis of anticipated levels: low, medium, high. The pedagogical model of formation of readiness to professionally oriented foreign language communication of future specialists in technical profile colleges is shown and described. The main structural model elements of formation of future specialists’ readiness to professionally oriented foreign language communication are: pedagogical conditions of formation of readiness to professionally oriented foreign language communication, structural components and levels of the formation of communicative skills. The pedagogical conditions of formation of readiness to professionally oriented language communication of specialists in technical profile colleges are defined in the second chapter. They are: creation of linguistic environment in professionally oriented foreign language teaching, simulation of real situations of professional foreign language communication, the use of information and communication technologies. Linguistic environment – creation of the communicative situations and conditions for foreign training of practical skills and abilities associated with the profession of the future specialist. Among the interactive technologies of teaching is the implementation of trainings and case-study method which enable the creation of a favorable professional and linguistic environment for learning a foreign language for specific purposes. The modeling process of professional activity of future specialists is considered to be the typical definition of professional tasks, selection of methods, means and forms of education, development of educational and professional situations. The use of ICT allows us to train and to automate all kinds of language and speech activity, to combine them in various combinations, to form linguistic abilities, create communicative professional situations, to intensify the independent work of students, implement an individual approach. A complex of methodical recommendations, learning situations which are the meaningful basis that ensures effective formation of readiness for foreign language communication of future technical profile specialists is designed and implemented in the educational process. The author proposed and applied in practice the teaching materials and methodological recommendations, namely: the signed electronic manuals on discipline "Foreign Language for Specific Purposes" – "English for the Automotive Electricians", "English for the Automotive Specialties"; audiovisual professional glossary "Autoworld"; e-tests "Hot Potatoes"; blog-quest "English for Specific Purposes"; reference book "English Grammar", which entered the information and communication case of a foreign language teacher. The third chapter discloses the results of the stage of the pedagogical experiment. The efficiency of the offered pedagogical conditions has been proved experimentally. On the basis of the developed readiness and its levels characterizing the degree of its formation, the stating experiment in which revealed that most of the students are at an insufficient level, indicated the relevance of the research topic. The control phase of the experiment confirmed the expected results in accordance with the advanced hypothesis and the possibility of achieving them. The conducted dissertation research allowed achieving the objectives, implementing the planned tasks and confirming the hypothesis.
