Abstract
Пілатес – це вид оздоровчого фітнесу, котрий базується на гімнастиці, що складається з плавних рухів і вправ, які виконуються в повільному темпі. Цей вид фізичного навантаження був розроблений на початку XX століття американцем Джозефом Пілатесом, а його головною метою було відновлення здоров’я солдатів, які мали різні травми після війни. З часом Пілатес став поширеним видом фітнесу, зокрема ним займаються дівчата у процесі навчання у закладах освіти.
