      This thesis focuses on value attitude to work of Construction and Architecture College students. In the thesis the pedagogical conditions of value attitude to work formation are substantiated. The criteria, indicators and levels of value attitude to work are determined. The model of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work formation is proposed. It has been proved that values as structural components of culture comprise ideals and criteria for their evaluation. As a social phenomenon they reflect acme of perfection. As a public phenomenon they are significant to people and can be the object of their activity. As a personal phenomenon they are patterns of behaviour aimed at achieving goals and complex principles which determine personal motives. As a scientific category, work is considered to be conscious meaningful activity of an individual aimed at the creation of both material and spiritual products. The psychological features of work include the following: conscious prediction of work results; awareness of the need to achieve a certain goal; responsibility for the results of activity; improvement of tools and methods of work; maintaining interpersonal industrial relations. As a social and cultural phenomenon, work has some characteristic features such as the production of goods and services, discipline, human activity based on motivation, needs and interests. It has been determined that value attitude to work is a complex content-synthetic component of a personality, which involves personal attitude to work as one of the most important necessities of life, a sense of satisfaction with work and a system of important moral qualities which determine the attitude to work. Value attitude to work determines professional behaviour, provides positive orientation of activity, and adds meaning to professional activities. Value attitude to work formation is an essential part of labour education. Labour education in the process of value attitude to work formation is a purposeful and conscious process of encouraging students to acquire public values of work. They are acquired due to doing productive activities with gradually increasing complexity. The ways of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work formation have been determined. They are taking part in teamwork, combination of work and gaining professional knowledge, combination of vocational training with productive work in a well equipped workroom; work at a real enterprise. Future builders’ attitude work is characterized by the desire (or lack of desire) to show their physical and spiritual strength and use their experience and knowledge, by the ability to achieve certain results. Future builders’ attitude work is manifested in the behaviour, motivation and evaluation of work. The pedagogical conditions of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work formation are substantiated. The are formation of students’ motivation to work through modelling of college educational environment; informational technologies use for formation of students’ readiness for self-realization in professional activity; enabling students to gain experience of value attitude to work in college educational process. The components, criteria, indicators and levels of value attitude to work formation are identified and substantiated. The components of this phenomenon are motivation to work, readiness for work and self-realization in work. The indicators for motivation-value criterion are future specialists’ attitude to profession, desire for professional and personal growth, self-determination in profession and desire to devote his/her life to profession. The indicators of reflexive-intellectual criterion are professional knowledge and skills, willingness to solve professional tasks and understanding the image of professional activity and future builder’s personality. The indicators of practical criterion are an ability to develop a strategy of professional self-improvement as a future builder, an ability to work in a team, an ability show leadership qualities, professional mobility, and professional self-identification. Three levels of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work have been specified and described. Diagnostic tools have been chosen to study the state of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work. Methods for realization of pedagogical conditions of value attitude to work formation have been presented. Methodological recommendations for formation of Construction and Architecture College students’ value attitude to work have been developed and implemented. [1]
